Our Missions strategy is built around Acts 1:8, "But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you, and you will be my witnesses in Jerusalem and in all Judea and Samaria, and to the ends of the earth."
Jesus was instructing the first church that missions begins at home (Sorrento), then extends to our community, state, our nation, then the entire world.
We have a Missions Team that actively keeps missionary efforts and challenges ever before us. In particular, Christ Community Fellowship is involved with mission outreach programs such as Casa David (Tegucigalpa, Hondouras) and Harvester's Reaching The Nations (South Sudan).
Locally, our mission outreach compliments community programs such as Life's Choices of Lake County, the Southern Baptist Disaster Relief group, Hubbard House, and numerous personal ministries to the local hospitals and Assisted Living Facilites.
Most recently we have started a Quilting Ministry that meets every Wednesday morning, 9am at our Church Building. The quilts we produce are used to suppliment our outreach to local homes and group facilities.
If you are interested in participating with our Missions Team, or learning more about how you can be involved please contact our church office or send an email to Missions@ChristCommunityFellowship.org.
